Nita Talbot (born Anita Sokol, August 8, 1930) is an American actress. Talbot was a leading lady who spent the first decade or so of her career playing "slick chicks" and sharp-witted career girls, but is perhaps best known for her role as Marya, the "White Russian" spy in the 1960s sitcom Hogan's Heroes, as well as Sheila Fine in the sitcom Soap. Talbot received an Emmy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the 1967–1968 season of Hogan's Heroes. Talbot also had long-running roles in Search for Tomorrow and General Hospital. On "GH", she had the recurring role of Delphina from 1981 to 1983 (and again in 1992), Tiffany Hill's old friend who took over designing Luke and Laura's wedding.via

So I win, right?
ReplyDeleteYes! I just realized you left a comment yesterday that correctly identified Nita Talbot.
ReplyDeleteCookie for the win!
i was so confused by the gene tierney talk. actually, when i first
ReplyDeletelooked at it, i thought nina foch. guess i was mixing them both up.
well, gee....no wonder I didn't know. I never watched Hogan's Heroes.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed too hard hitting and serious to me.
She's wonderful as the White Russian. But she also does a fabulous turn as an alien with asymmetrical hair on an episode of the Monkeys.
DeleteI hated that White Russian bitch Marya. Sexy Mr Hogan was all mine until she got her claws into him!
ReplyDeleteI do not believe that I ever saw her on tv or the screen. I remember Hoogan's Heroes vaguely, but sorry, never followed it. I did not even now that a woman was in it.
ReplyDeleteI remember her from Hogan's Heros! I missed the "Guess Who" contest the other day. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteI dimly remember Soap with Catherine Hammond? and that actor who played the doctor in the Golden Girls, the one with the dogs, but I don't remember her in it.
ReplyDeleteI missed the contest. I'll console myself by mixing a White Russian.
