Can you guess who she is?
She's famous now, but before she was famous she was a struggling New York model.
Struggling to have her ass be in this vintage Glamour's Beauty Book.
I have this book, I picked it up one day at an estate sale and have found it's beauty advice to be an invaluable source of information for creating vintage 1960's looks, hair, make-up, and clothing all included. It's like a blueprint for recreating this kind of shit. Ton's of Gloria Steinem's sage recommendations for transforming the ordinary into the Glamorous. I always thought this girl was the most amazing Make-Over in the entire book. One day while watching a TV interview I over heard this woman describing her earlier days as a model and then they showed this picture. I was amazed at who it was, because I had known of this picture for many years. If your having trouble, look closely you'll see the resemblance, if not I'll post the before picture later on. Hint: She's not nearly this glamorous today. Guess who this woman is?

Ayem8y said...Guess again...
Mitzi Said... I'm intrigued, the picture was taken in 1966, thats' 41 years ago, she looks about 25 in the photograph so today she's roughly 66 presuming she's still alive, judging by the size of her ears I reckon she has criminal tendencies. Just a wild guess then.Is that woman from Private Benjamin, the one who has a shower and her face turns blue?
Ayem8y Said......It's not Eileen Brennan.
She is still alive.
You are so close with your observations.
Mitzi Said... Raquel Welch?
Ayem8y Said... Nope.
Here's a hint: She has her very own TV program...
Mitzi Said...Is it Martha Stewart?
Ayem8y Said... Ding Ding Ding! You win the prize but I need to inform you that all prizes are awarded to US citizens only! Too bad. Let's give the lovely Mitzi a big round of applause. I was about to die when you said..."judging by the size of her ears I reckon she has criminal tendencies." How canny your instincts are, you should be a profiler for Scotland yard.
