Where have all the flowers gone?
exactly my comment darling!
BEST.COMMENT.EVER. you win the internet, sweetpea! xoxo
Lightening fast delivery too! I posted these pictures and LX commented within 2 minutes. Sadly this cool old area has seen better days. Hoping it revitalizes soon and the flowers come back, it's across from an old golf country club that fronts the bay.
You just need to buy it and restore it to its former glory!!It's calling your name.
I totally agree! It was so chic and needs to be again. xoxox
It really is calling my name. It could live again and be chic...with many donations....
It almost looks like 'David' has become a 'john', but you're being sneaky here - the addresses are 1120 and 3660.
I too noticed that so I googled the address and found another part of the same street. However, I've known the building from long ago so I knew right where it belonged. I'm guessing the addresses changed more recently when the street was interrupted by changing out an old draw bridge to a fancy new high bridge that flies over discontinued sections. Address numbers change.
It stirs a longing for what is now termed 'vintage', the small, special things that have all gone away.
Could be a great Sunday Tea Dance place. The flowers would be sure to return.
I know! Returning from the beach...it could be nice stop-off...for a gin martini...
