Now for the Talent Portion of our Show:

It’s beauty season and I’ve been running all over the south coaching my girls at the local level. I got some talented gals this year and some I feel could win their counties. It’s all about poise, ladylike behavior, quick thinking and a big finish.

  1. Her act would fit right in with a Texas high school football half-time show!

  2. I knew a woman who worked on that movie and one day she pulled that outfit out of the closet. At the time, I hadn't seen the movie. I have no idea if it was the only one....

  4. XL: I watched this with my parents this weekend and my mother said that she has seen less talent at the Friday night high school football half time stomper girl routines.

Mr. Blue: I would love to start collecting movie costumes. Like Marlene’s gorilla costume in Blue Angel.

Michael: I would be honored to help you with your talent...now pull down your pants so I can see what we are working with...

  5. Your Coaching seems to be paying off...

No talent problems there apart from a little timing problem leading to weapon mishandling...

  6. I would have added more sparkle. Like glitter on the rifle... Just saying: I want the back row to see me.

ALSO; we have a gay 'color guard' organization here. Always a favorite come Pride weekend; their routines are just full of sass. Every June I think "I should do that!" And then come to my senses.

  8. One of the great movies of the 80's canon. Makes a great double feature of Southern Madness with "Crimes Of The Heart" (both written by Beth Henley)

I recently showed "Crimes" (perhaps the ultimate chick flick)to a 28 year old straight male friend (what was I thinking, right). Well he laughed his ass off and cried like a little bitch. There is hope in this younger generation.
