The Party's Over:

Just in case I come home from Oil Slick Beach and find my blog has been erased, it's been fun, it's been swell, the party's over.

  1. Well done. Your blog is safe and sound for the moment, and i hope it will continue like this for very very long. ;)

  2. Hey, don't make me get all Thelma Ritter on you and give you a good tough but tender (and slightly slurred) talking to.

    It's gonna be all right.

  4. I'm currently researching methods of backing up blogs & comments. There seem to be several methods--a few more complex than others. Soon as I find a few that work, I'll do a post and let everyone know how to back up their stuff in case the fanatics at Blogger expand their witch hunts.

    So far, Mago, posting at Princess, has suggest exporting your blog through the follwoing:

    I just made a copy of my blog: You find it under "Settings" - "Basic", in the first line: Blog tools: Import, export, delete.
    Simply export it, it will be stored in "xml"-format on a location you name on your computer.
    I read that it is possible to import "xml"-data f.e. in wordpress, they have an extra button for this. I will do this later and tell you what happened. I first have to think about all this and will post.

  6. @Thelma: Thank you for being so stern and honest.

    @Mistress: You know I would enjoy it too much.

    @Eros: I'm thinking that too much more publicity would be a bad thing as I am changing my e-mail address soon and I no longer use google for a search engine. Down with google.

    @Ayem8y: I know right?
