Fair to Midland:

I went to the Fair tonight and it was ever so thrilling. The sights…the sounds…the smells! Too much cotton candy. I thought I was going to get sick whilst riding the Himalaya. This ride is nauseating and features the most god awful music but tonight it was worse much worse as it featured “How Great Thou Art” rendered on the pan flute by the maestro himself, Zamfir. Add in the intoxicating reek of an elderly carny and you could easily have induced vomit. I was strong and my stomach was cast iron.

So many a queen from the past. Is there nowhere else to go on a Wednesday night? There is no such place on earth that features an easy lay like a carny. Which brought me to a most thrilling challenge, to photograph the most attractive carny. There was none.

Livestock, poultry and ponies are always a big draw. I had to get away but after plunking down big bucks to attend this freak show I held my nose and ventured further and further into the depravity until I had exhausted every ticket and carny.

A little snide note, to all them that’s getting front row seats to the latest Madonna concert that is rumored to be so so, I have one thing to say and that is I saw Madonna myself tonight at the fair and she looked bigger and better than ever...So Ha.
