Fall Wardrobe:

It’s the first day of fall but it still feels like Hot to me. Here on the Gulf of Mexico we get two seasons, Hot and Cold. Somewhere around Thanksgiving it suddenly changes to Cold. Then miraculously around the second week of February it becomes Hot.

Occasionally we do get that crisp day and I find myself rooting through the attic for my Cold clothes. Then I realize that I don’t have any fall colors. Then I rush to the laundry mat armed with bottles of RIT dye.

  1. MIss J is happy to report that fall has actually happened in SoCal this eyar. Usually, September and October are the hottest months of teh year and are of forests and homes burning to the ground. Here's to hoping that the cool weather continues.

  2. Ironically enough, the washing machines there are colored like a fall day in 1975.
